Our Initial Brainstorm

 

 

The first time meeting with my group which consists of Francesca, Annabel, Lydia and I, we compared ideas from over the holidays which were a part of our holiday work. I produced my idea using the song 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' which the group liked. Lydia produced an idea using the song 'Sit Down' by James and using a technique from her theatre studies last year using the idea of chair duets. 

We originally had the idea of using the song and doing a dance piece using the frantic assembly technique. We had the idea we could place it in a psychiatrist or doctors waiting room and people could be coming and going with the theme of the song being friendship and people being there for others in need. Our idea was to make an old song new with a new outlook and concept.
