Developed Idea

 

Our developed idea was when the song starts to have the narrator/lead singer of the band sitting on the kitchen counter, singing into the camera while there is a slow motion fight between the main couple. The shot then cuts to another scenario where the woman is sat at a dining room table with a formal dinner laid out and she is clearly waiting for him but he's late. He then precedes to walk in and they start fighting again. The narrator then walks across the screen, beginning a transition as the screen changes behind him. It cuts to them enjoying a film on the sofa and cuddling. It cuts to them having fun in the kitchen. At the instrumental it cuts to him walking down the street and we see the streets changing, he's clearly in a hurry. We see her waiting in the rain, cold and unhappy. He runs up to her and pleads with her and she storms off in anger. We were then going to have more scenarios where they are happy and include the band performance in a public place, such as the band busking in a public place and the couple walking past in different outfits, showing the change of seasons. We wanted to end with the couple being unaware of their future leaving the audience to decide whether they want them to stay together or not.
